New Name

According to a press statement released earlier today (Thursday, June 15th) the Bismarck Larks will be rebranding and changing not only their black, gold, and gray colors, but also the team's name.

So, what will the new name be? According to the press release, the Bismarck Larks will be changing to the "Missouri River Motorboaters" next month (July).

The statement explained, that the team wanted to capture the spirit of summer in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Hold On A Minute!!!

There is a bit of a "Catch" with this new name change. The team will only use the new name for ONE game. -- Yep, it's a one time deal.

Get ready to cheer on the "Missouri River Motorboaters" as the go up against the Rochester "Honkers" on July 27th.

Blue, purple, white and gray will be seen all over the Bismarck Municipal Park, Home Dakota Community Bank & Trust field.

Check out the team's Facebook post, showcasing the new mascot and colors!

How cool is that?!

For A Good Cause

The name change isn't just for fun, it's also for a good cause.

The Motorboaters jerseys will be auctioned off, and all the net proceeds will go to a local charity.

Get ready to sport blue, purple, white, and gray gear! You can pick up some merch too! Hats, t-shits, and tank tops are available online.
