10 Years Of Mandan Magic – Imagine Making So Many People Happy

Two amazing people opened their doors on October 15, 2014, at 3206 Memorial Highway...

...Benevolent Tattoo!  You will undoubtedly run across somebody proudly showing off another masterpiece from a truly talented artist - Russ Irelan. I stopped by this morning to congratulate them. "A wild ride full of ups and downs...it's part of owning a small business",  Ashley Rene told me. Like so many other places here and around the country, during COVID they were closed for a while - which puts quite the added pressure on paying bills.

I found this wonderful place back in 2022 when I decided to just walk in

Keep in mind now my whole life, I hadn't given one second of a thought to getting myself a tattoo - but after talking with Russ and Ashley for about 10 minutes, I could hear the passion in their voice of their work. The meaning behind every tattoo is so special - a personal gift that is to be cherished every single moment. I made an appointment and on September 10th I drove away from Benevolent with this on my left arm. My sobriety date - there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of my past,  what it took, and what it STILL takes to stay sober - to help others.

Russ and Ashley have been together for 13 years - they are terrific - they make you feel special the second you enter their place. Mike Cleary - an artist - is there as well to offer his talents.

"It's an honor - I appreciate everyone"

Open 5 days a week - my advice to you is, if you are thinking about getting a tattoo, just walk into Benevolent Tattoo and visit Russ, Ashley, and Mike. Thank you guys for 10 years!
