Is This A Bismarck Airport Passenger Layover?
Hey, look, everyone at some time or another has had a layover at an airport
Next time you find yourself at our very own Bismarck Airport, look around for a rather large, impressive figure - you actually may have walked by this Triceratops before and never even noticed.
Not to be rude or anything, but it's clear we don't know whether this is a SHE or a He
We do now that this spectacle would require at least 3 or 4 seats in an airplane. According to kids.nationalgeographic.com "Triceratops existed as both males and females, but scientists cannot tell their sex apart from fossils because both sexes had the same large horns and frills." One thing is clear, OUR Bismarck Airport is proud to have such a display.
North Dakota's oldest traveler

"Next time you’re passing through Bismarck Airport, say hello to one of North Dakota’s oldest travelers! This triceratops skull belonged to one of the largest plant-eating dinosaurs to ever roam the state. Weighing in at five tons and measuring 30 feet long, it would have needed extra legroom. Discovered in the Hell Creek Formation, the fossil was restored by experts at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum"
