That she was, AND always will be

There are a few things that some people will avoid, and shy away from - FAITH. The wonderful thing about our country is that we are allowed to seek comfort in our religion - whatever that may be. Family members, friends, loved ones, and HER other family ( Bismarck Townsquare Media ) all came together this past Sunday and Monday - to celebrate the life of Frances "Dolly" Luger - ----- DOLLY DAKOTA

Sunday Was A "Gathering Of Family And Friends"

Sunday afternoon at Da Wise-Perry/Mandan Crematory, a prayer service was held for the woman who adored her cats, and her family and shared her life 100% with Bismarck/Mandan. Dolly Dakota - she battled a cruel disease for nearly 6 years. Never gave up her fight, and inspired others to stand strong, and face cancer head-on. As all of us gathered, for about a half hour, family, friends, and a few of us from work relayed some of our favorite touching Dolly moments. A beautiful collection of photos kept scrolling by as we saw her smiles, her glowing faces, her cats, her family, and all the people who loved Dolly Dakota

Monday -  St. George's Episcopal Memorial Church

In a charming warm church at 601 N 4th St, our hearts hurting, we all gazed at a beautiful urn, surrounded by flowers. Impossible not to imagine her laugh and her energy. There she was, with us - our final time with her. Once again as Pastor Steve Sathre began, whatever your beliefs on faith were, the ONLY thing that mattered was for all of us to pay our respect, and for a "Loving Final Goodbye To A Bismarck/Mandan Treasure"

R.I.P Frances "Dolly" Luger  - January 16th, 1967 - December 27th, 2023

Dolly's family all wore one of her favorite shirts Sunday night - a special place that she shared her life with.
