Bismarck High and Bismarck Century have had many memorable games over the years.  Last night in front a very energetic crowd at the VFW, they were treated to a game fans will be talking about for years to come.

Bismarck Century came into the game the hottest team in the state.  The Patriots had won 9 strait games, and had the inside edge on winning the West Region if they won their final two games.  Bismarck High is playing their best hockey of the year as well, winning 8 of their last 10 games.

Bismarck Century got on the board first scoring on their first shot of the game.  Cru Walker tapped in a beautiful goal set up by Colton Schulte and Cullen Curl just :35 seconds into the game.  The game remained 1-0 for 38 minutes into the 3rd period until the Demons finally connected on a power play goal late.  Hunter Acker sniped a wrist shot by Century goaltender Kaden Jangula with assists to Caiden Schwehr and Remington Richardson.

Colton Schulte had a tremendous game for the Pats, with several highlight scoring opportunities throughout the game.  Demon goaltender Logan Hendrickson, who has been a walking highlight reel himself this year, had just stoned Century's Schulte just a minute into overtime on an unbelievable save.  A Demon player then tried to get the puck out of the zone.  The puck hit a BHS player in the back of the skate above the dots,  somehow the puck zipped past Demon goaltender Hendrickson, and the game was over.  Colton Schulte was the closest player to the puck, so he was credited with the goal.

These two teams are on a collision course again in the West Region Tournament which starts Tuesday.  They could very well meet again next week.  Incase you missed this unbelievable game winning goal, here it is.(VIDEO)
