Bike Night Finale – Race Against Mother Nature In Bismarck
Two days before our 2024 Bike Night finale all eyes were on the weather - of course
For those of you who have been through our Bike Nights in the past are experienced to know that on Wednesday nights, at Sickies Garage, ANY kind of Mother Nature can hit you - Wind, rain, 100-degree temperature, or even a possible tornado. Last night around 5:45-6:00 we realized that we better start giving away prizes and awards and such.
Freedom Riders - Starting it off
This young man brought home a NEW bicycle, Our Heroes The Freedom Riders were with us for 14 weeks straight...by the way, guess who the 2024 Vendor of the Year award went to?...You got it - The Freedom Riders
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our Bismarck Townsquare Media Team - Greeting everyone with a HUGE smile!
Connie, Haley, Megan T, Megan S, Andra, and Brittany
For 14 weeks people eagerly had their punch cards punched
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rick Rider From US 1033 making sure B-Fish ( King of Bike Night ) lays off his corny jokes ( didn't work though )
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some of our regular Bike Nighters were nice and snug out on the patio
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nathan from Flatbed Axe Throwing was ready to hand you an axe ( if you are over 16 years old ) - we all hoped that the storm would miss us
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inside Sickies amazing food, and awesome people taking care of others
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately, the storm was headed right towards us - a decision had to be made by Sickies and us
Safety comes first - no matter what - with a crowd outside and a lumbering storm approaching with a severe threat of lightning, hail, and a tornado ( yikes ) - Sickies management acted quickly, and WE began to move even swifter and proceeded to give some HUGE prizes, along with THE Bike Night Of The Year WINNER.
Bike Of The Year Winner:
Marty Harper
2020 Harley Custom Road Glide

Talk about suspense - talk about drama
Finally, we came to giving away the beautiful CF MOTO Motorcycle from Dvorak - 10 raffle tickets were pulled - and each contestant walked over to a table and grabbed a 96.5 Walleye hat - inside a hat was a key - one by one they walked over to their ( hopefully ) NEW ride - inserted the key and held their breath - if the bike started, then tears of joy would flow - WELL just like last year, the last person - number 10 - Jim Kaluoda - turned his key to the purring sound of a new engine starting. Pure poetry!
Tim Geloff
Thank YOU to everyone that came by last night, and the last 13 weeks! See you NEXT YEAR!
