Some sad news was delivered by a member of the McQuade family. Shannon McQuade announced that Sam McQuade passed away earlier this morning. Family and friends and so many others around the Bismarck and Mandan community expressed their respect and sorrow.

McQuade Distributing has been around for 78 years - McQuade Distributing Co., Inc. has been serving Bismarck, ND, and the surrounding area with Quality Sales and Service in the Beer industry since 1947. Sam W McQuade brought us the McQuade-Budweiser Softball tournament ( Which just recently celebrated their 50th anniversary.

This afternoon, Shannon McQuade messaged me with heartbreaking news: “My dad passed away this morning.”

We are deeply saddened to learn that Sam McQuade has passed.

"The McQuade family has been a part of Kobe’s journey for many years as loyal friends, supporters, and one of our most trusted vendors. Sam’s kindness, loyalty, and presence will be deeply missed, not only by our team but by the entire Bismarck–Mandan community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Shannon and the McQuade family during this difficult time. May Sam’s memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
