For the second straight year, it came down to Bismarck High and West Fargo for the Class A State Wrestling Championship and, for the second straight year, the Demons would not be beat.

Bismarck High repeated as Class A State Wrestling Champions on Saturday, February 21st, defeating West Fargo 239-227.5 at the FargoDome.

The Demons placed 12 wrestlers, including three state champions, according to The Bismarck Tribune: Dillon Spaulding at 113 pounds, Taylor Nein at 125, and Adam Blees at 152. This was Blees' second straight state championship, as well.

The Bismarck-Mandan schools accounted for eight individual championships in total. Along with the three from Bismarck High, Century's Hunter Eckert and Jacob Ryder won at 138 and 170, respectively, while St. Mary's saw Taylor Barnhardt (132) and Jackson Grad (285) win. Ryan Zachmeier, of Mandan, also won an individual title at 106 pounds.
