Bismarck-Mandan Gets Bronze Award for Being Bicycle Friendly

By now, you've noticed the bicycle lanes the cities of Bismarck and Mandan have installed on the city streets over the last few years. This effort has paid off.

The League of American Bicyclists have awarded the Bismarck-Mandan MPO with a Bronze Award Level Bicycle Friendly Community award.

The group was recognized for the investment for biking, promotional and education programs, plus the infrastructure and installment of lanes for bicyclist and their pro-policies.

Bismarck Mayor Mike Seminary says "the city is a vibrant destination for residents and visitors."
