Can you even begin to imagine the pressure an NFL quarterback feels?

Whether you are a starter or even a third-string player, with the blink of an eye, injuries happen, and every game is HUGE. The game of football is fast-paced and hard-hitting. What would your guess be on the average length of a National Football player? The answer may surprise you.

Bismarck's very own Carson Wentz has gone beyond the average length...

Here is a guy destined for the pros, in High School ( Century High in Bismarck ), Carson Wentz played offense and defense. His skills at quarterback delivered FCS championships to the North Dakota State Bisons.

You know the term "Journeyman" - this applies to Wentz in the trade he is in. For 9 years in the competitive world of professional football, in 2016, the Philadelphia Eagles selected him in the first round - He went ahead and collected a Super Bowl ring in his second year. Since then, Carson has played for 4 other teams - The Indianapolis Colts, Washington, Los Angeles Rams, and last year with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now with the Minnesota Vikings, Wentz is getting a shot early on in the season

This is exactly what all backup quarterbacks train for, according to vikings.com "Vikings Head Coach Kevin O'Connell on Monday announced J.J. McCarthy suffered an ankle sprain against the Falcons in Week 2 and is not expected to be available for Minnesota's Week 3 game vs. Bengals. O'Connell said the Vikings anticipate Carson Wentz starting and undrafted rookie Max Brosmer will back up Wentz"
