I was just talking about this last week with a co-worker

It must have been 4 years ago when I came out from Minot to do a radio remote with Dvorak. I had never set foot in Bismarck but had driven by only ONCE when I moved from Fargo to Magic City. I set my GPS to guide my station's vehicle to 2700 State ST - Gateway Mall. I found myself staring at the HUGE empty space inside which apparently used to be a Sears store. My conversation earlier this month with a co-worker was about that very same thing, and I was amazed that the space is still vacant- but not for long.

Gateway Mall about to get a new neighbor

Here is what I came across from the Capital City Restaurant Supply Facebook page:

"CCRSupply Service and Warehouse is moving along with the store! Our new location is in the old Sears service area on the west end of Gateway mall. The address is 2700 State Street Suite D. Bismarck, ND 58501. All our used items and large equipment will be stored here in our warehouse as well. Well equiped with all the utilities we need to test appliances and their functionality after service. Our service department will be closed to facilitate this move until Jan 1. We look forward to serving your appliance repair needs well into the future!"   I know what you are thinking, maybe this will help bring other businesses into the Mall. Some may be satisfied with what they think is a place that is "Dying" ( the mall ) - however, I like to stay positive and believe that we can pump life BACK IN.
