Carson Wentz spent the bye week from his busy schedule back in North Dakota hunting with a special guest.

Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout joined Wentz during the trip back to the Peace Garden State. Trout is known for being a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan as he grew up near the area in Vineland, NJ, which is just about an hour south of Philadelphia, PA.

According to KFYR, Wentz talked about the fact that he and Trout don't talk much about football or baseball when they hang out. When they hunt, it's their time to get away from sports.

As for Wentz's hunting excursion, he explained:

There's lots of ducks and geese in North Dakota. We had a great trip and like I said, it was just a perfect time for me and some of my friends and family to just all get together and get away and get refreshed, recharged for the second half of the season.

Wentz and the Eagles (4-4) will continue their season and be back home this Sunday night in Philadelphia to take on the Dallas Cowboys (3-5).
