If you have never experienced walking around in this huge store, you are missing out - first of all one of the things you'll notice immediately are large crates filled almost up to the heavens with any product you are looking for - the perfect place to shop if you have a family - bulk -bulk-bulk

Just recently a simple mistake has caused Costco a giant headache

I said earlier that Costco is such a convenient place to shop - you can buy all your necessary food items there, not to mention shop for clothes, entertainment, and many other items. So when you are at Costco to get your grocery items, for most people BUTTER is on your list. right? Well according to qz.com "Costco (COST-0.82%) recalled nearly 80,000 pounds of its store-brand butter products last month because they were missing a legally-required allergy statement. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classified the recall as Class II on Nov. 7. This designation is defined by the agency as a “situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences,” but “the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

So how big of a mistake was it?

Costco recall overview:

• Who: Continental Dairy Facilities Southwest LLC is recalling more than 79,000 pounds of Costco butter.
• Why: The butter’s labeling does not display a disclaimer about milk allergens.
• Where: The recall is active in the United States.
