The 2021 season for BisMan pools is about to come to an end.

I do not know how many times I can say this, yet still, be shocked every time it happens, but SUMMER IS RAPIDLY COMING TO AN END. The Bismarck Larks are wrapping up their 2021 baseball season, temperatures are no longer at a near-constant 100 degrees, and BisMan's outdoor waterparks are entering their final week of operation for the season.

Time is running out to enjoy the summer at one of Bismarck-Mandan's many outdoor pools. Hillside and Wachter Pools close Friday, August 13, at 7:00 PM. Raging Rivers closes at 5:00 PM on August 22 and The Elks Pool closes at 6:00 PM on the same day. And there are a couple of fun events happening before the pools close for the season!

Wachter Pool is going to host a "Pool Pooch Party" on August 14.

Now, the Wachter Pool may be closed to humans after today, but they will be open one more day just for dogs! The Bisparks website says the chemicals will be turned off and there will be designated times for small and large dogs to swim! So, bring the family and the pups for an afternoon of fun at the "Pool Pooch Party" on Saturday, August 14 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Raging Rivers will host an "All Kids Swim Day" on August 17.

Then, next week, Raging Rivers will have an inclusive event for kids of all abilities. The Raging Rivers Facebook page posted that there will be an "All Kids Swim Day" during the final week of being open for 2021. It is a swim event that is open to kids with special needs or who are differently-abled. "All Kids Swim Day" will be held on Tuesday, August 17, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
