The Hazen man who auctioned his house over the weekend to pay medical bills has a Go Fund Me Page set up and needs your support.

West Dakota Fox reports oil field worker Daniel "Mike" Schwindt was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome, and disease that attacks the body's auto-immune system.

The decline in health came quickly. "One day I went in the bathroom because they were getting me out of bed to brush my teeth and it was hard to get over there, but it was one of the things I had to do. I saw myself and I actually thought I was dying."

Following diagnosis, Mr. Schwindt spent over a month in the hospital.

Over the weekend, he auctioned off his house to help pay his medical expenses. In addition his family has set up a Go Fund me account for folks who wish to help out.
