How To Deal With a Rabid Raccoon [VIDEO]

What would you do if your pet was under attack by a rabid raccoon? If your answer was "Launch it violently down the stairs"...you and Digg founder Kevin Rose would handle the situation the exact same way.

According to MajorGeeks.com, at about 1am Rose heard his dog crying and yelping. When he went to go see what was wrong, he found a raccoon attacking his pet. In an instant, he did what I think any pet owner would and chucked the raccoon down the steps to get it as far away from his dog as possible.

Obviously, I don't condone violence against animals but, in a situation like this, I think what Rose did was completely understandable.
