Williston’s Most Frustrating Intersection? Locals Have Spoken

We asked the question again, and apparently, not much has changed.

We recently went back to our 660 KEYZ News Radio Facebook audience and asked a question that always gets people talking: What is the worst intersection in Williston?

The answers came rolling in, and just like the last time we asked, one intersection stood out from the rest.

The Winner, Again

16th Avenue West and 26th Street West once again took the top spot, with the most votes by a wide margin.

If you've driven through this intersection, you probably understand why. Between the traffic, multiple lanes, and the decisions drivers have to make, it can sometimes feel like you need a game plan before you even get there.

One thing is certain: Williston drivers (including me) have not changed their minds.

And yes, we still agree with the everyone who previously called it the worst four-way stop in Williston.

2nd Avenue West Takes Second

Coming in second place this time around was 2nd Avenue West and 34th Street West.

That intersection generated plenty of frustration of its own, proving there are several contenders when it comes to the title of Williston's most challenging intersection.

Of course, other intersections received votes too. Drivers mentioned plenty of spots around town that can become frustrating during busy times.

The fun part about asking this question is seeing how quickly people have an opinion. Everyone seems to have that one intersection where they slow down, look twice and think, Here we go again.

For now, the people have spoken. 16th Avenue West and 26th Street West remains Williston's unofficial champion of intersection frustration.

And if we ask again next year, something tells me the answer might not change much.
