National Conservation Efforts Since 1937

Ducks Unlimited is a national leader in wetland and waterfowl conservation. Since 1937, DU has conserved more than 19 million acres of land. The nonprofit organization has 644,000 members nationally, including volunteers who organize fundraising events.  

Williston, ND Chapter Hosts Annual Banquet

The Williston, ND Chapter of Ducks Unlimited is holding their annual fundraising banquet on Saturday, April 12 at the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds. Local organizers Mike and Sarah Johnson, promise a great event for all who attend, with the help from a team of volunteers.

Local Impact: Conservation Close to Home

This Williston DU banquet supports local waterfowl and wetlands conservation. During a recent interview on 96.1Sarah mentioned that local individuals had received funds from Ducks Unlimited for improvements to their land to make it more suitable for ducks and waterfowl.  

Evening Schedule & Dinner Details

Doors and registration open at 5:00pm at the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds. 

Dinner served at 6:45. The meal is catered by 701 Chophouse, and includes brisket and Chicken Toscana with all the fixings and dessert.

Games, Raffles, and Auctions

Attendees will enjoy raffles, games, and chances to win guns, coolers, and a gun safe from Tractor Supply. There will be both Silent and Live Auction items.  

An exciting new addition this year is a chance to win a  CF Moto 800 Touring 4-Wheeler and Shotgun combo from Arny's Motorsports during the Live Auction.  

Tickets & Sponsorships Still Available

A few table sponsorships and tickets are still available. Couple's tickets are $60, and single tickets are $40. Call Mike Johnson at 920-242-8619 for more information. Limited tickets will be available at the door. Organizers recommend buying early to help with food planning.

Using the most recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2019 American Community Survey, Stacker ranked the states based on the percentage of the total population that was born in their state of residence.
