
4 Major Hip Hop Artists To Perform at North Dakota State Fair
We're always excited to hear what artists will be coming to the North Dakota State Fair each year. This morning, it was announced that Fair officials are planning something massive, and it's never been done before.
Four Hip Hop Artists in One Night
The North Dakota State Fair is making history this year with "Turn Up, ND!" Get ready for a brand-new hip-hop event on one stage, one night.
Craig Rudland, the NDSF General Manager, said the following.
“This is something we’ve never done before at the North Dakota State Fair,” said Craig Rudland, NDSF General Manager.
He also said that having a whole night around this genre of music will be exciting for North Dakotans.
“We’ve had hip-hop acts in the past, but never four major artists in a single night. ‘Turn Up, ND!’ brings a lineup of well-known performers with decades of hits, making this a must-see night for fans of the genre," said Rudland.

These four hip-hop artists will perform at the North Dakota State Fair on Thursday, July 24th.
Tickets are $65 and go on sale at the end of the month, March 31st

Fat Joe
You probably know Fat Joe from songs such as Lean Back, What's Luv?, and All the Way Up. He also hosted the BET Hip Hop Awards for three years in a row and launched his own STARZ talk show.
Bow Wow
Yes, Bow Wow will be performing this year. He's been a dominant force in music, television, and film for nearly 25 years. He's had major roles in movies such as Like Mike, and The Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. He also serves as an executive producer on WeTV's show, Growing Up Hip Hop.
Fun fact: He was discovered by Snoop Dogg and was mentored by Jermaine Dupri.
Soulja Boy
You know Soulja Boy from songs like Kiss Me Through the Phone, Turn My Swag On, and Crank That (Soulja Boy). Soulja Boy has had a major impact on social media and hip-hop culture.
Rick Ross
Last but not least, we have Rick Ross performing for us this year. You probably know every word to his song Hustlin' and are familiar with the music group he founded, Maybach Music (MMG). He is a rap/hip-hop legend.
