Mother's Day is coming up next weekend (Sunday, May 11th) and we need to celebrate.

If you are a mom and you don't celebrate the holiday because you think it's too much work, we are going to help you out.

You don't have to get all crazy and go all out on Mother's Day. There are actually really simple ways you can make the day fun for yourself.

Here are a few ways you can relax on Mother's Day.

1. Lock The Bathroom Door

If you're a mom, you've probably experienced this way too often. The kids barge in while you're in there, and you think to yourself, "Seriously, I can't pee for three seconds?" It's okay, you're not alone.

Celebrate Mother's Day by using the lock on the bathroom door. If you want to get really crazy, take a shower that's longer than 5 minutes.

2. Say "Ask Your Dad" All Day

You are actually out of the office on Mother's Day.

3. Sleep

Alarms aren't allowed on Mother's Day. You sleep until you can't sleep anymore. Sleep in, wake up, go back to sleep. There are no rules or limits on naps today.

4. Fire The Chef

If you are the one usually cooking for the family every day, you need to fire the chef. You are no longer working that job. Enjoy your freedom from the kitchen.

5. Put A Tax On The Word "Mom"

On Mother's Day, moms should not be disturbed. Sit a jar in front of you, and every time someone says, "Mom" they owe you $5. Mom is not answering questions today.

Now that we've figured out what we're doing for Mother's Day, let's plan ahead for Fathers Day (June15th)
