Bismarck’s Ramada Hotel To Permanently Close
You might find this news a little shocking: Bismarck's Ramada Hotel, located at 1400 E Interchange Ave., is permanently closing its doors. While the hotel has gone by a few different names over the years (Ramada Inn, Best Western Doublewood Inn, and Ramada by Wyndham), it has served as a hotel and event space for the Bismarck community since 1975.

Conventions, trade meetings, weddings, wing nights, and dart tournaments - over the years, the property served as more than just a place for people to spend the night; it's given the people of Bismarck quite a few fond memories. Sadly, that era has come to an end. Here's what we know about the closure.
Closing Date & Demolition Plans
According to KFYR TV, the hotel told employees that the facility will shut down in just one week. Not only that, but the entire building is set for demolition. That date has not been made public yet.
Right now, little is known about the reason for the closure, but we do know the hotel's last day of operation will be Sunday, November 8th. Doors will be permanently locked to the public the following day, November 9th.
Keep checking back with us for updates on the demolition and what might take over the lot in the future.
