5 Reasons Not To Miss The 2025 Dakota Garden Expo Bismarck
Spring is finally here in the Bismarck-Mandan area.
At least that's what the calendar says despite the fact that this past week looked more like winter. Let's face it: we have had such an easy winter that we have to expect some of this cooler spring weather.
We also should never turn down chances of precipitation living in Bismarck Mandan, as it seems like we're always on the dry side.
Despite that, it's time to start looking forward to spring and summer and all we can do to make our homes and yards a seasonal paradise.
This year's Dakota Garden Expo in Bismarck is this Friday, April 25th, and Saturday, April 26th, at the Bismarck Event Center (Exhibit Hall).
Showtimes are Friday from 3 to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 to 4 pm. There are a plethora of reasons why you should think about attending this year's expo, but I thought I would narrow it down to 5 BIG reasons this year is a "can't miss."
The 5 Reasons Not To Miss This Year's Dakota Garden Expo in Bismarck.
#5 More plant vendors than ever before.
And we mean EVER. Trees, shrubs, and plants in all shapes and sizes are ready to brighten up your backyard and turn it into your very own Garden of Eden. You can also register to win gift cards from our vendors.
#4 Great Line-up of seminars from NDSU Extension to help you with your backyard escape.
Learn from the experts. Are you having problems with noxious weeds? Grow grass like the pros. Learn which insects are good for your lawn and which ones you need to eliminate.
#3 Get fantastic deals on your plants at the show.
Now is the time to buy as warmer weather will be here soon. Save BIG now. Why wait? It's like throwing away money later. I know I bought a plethora of pines for my backyard last year.
#2 4-H students will be there to bring your purchases out to your vehicle, so no need to worry about buying too much.
(This is a fundraiser for the 4-H with free will donations for this service)
#1 FREE ADMISSION thanks to BEK TV.
THANKS again to BEK TV as normally there is a small fee to enter the show. Not this year, so take advantage of it. We will see you at the shows.
