Blades Of Glory! Bismarck Figure Skating Club Set To Shine Bright
The Bismarck Figure Skating Club will be hosting its annual ice show this coming weekend from Friday, March 14th through Sunday, March 16th.
The theme for this year's show is "Blades and Beats".
This show will feature 140 skaters performing individually and in groups, as well as the club's nine synchronized skating teams, including the nationally-acclaimed Capital Ice Chips and Connection.
Showtimes for the Bismarck Ice Show are as follows:
Friday, March 14th at 7 pm, Saturday, March 15th at 2 pm and 7 pm, and Sunday, March 16th at 2 pm. All shows will be at the Bismarck VFW Arena located at 1200 North Washington Street.
This is the largest ice show in North Dakota.
The show will feature guest skaters Leah Neset and Artem Markelove, 3-time Junior Ice Dance National Champions and 2024 World Champions. Leah grew up in Minot, North Dakota. These Team USA stars will skate alongside local talent from the area.
According to a press release from the Bismarck Figure Skating Club, at the 2025 National Synchro Championships, the Captial Ice Chips earned a Silver medal, making it their 10th consecutive podium placement. Congrats to them, and what an accomplishment.
"Beats and Blades" is an original sotyr, written, choreographed, costumed, and produced by a team of Bismarck Figure Skating Club coaches and parents, including director Becky Gallion.
The shows will feature 7 seniors, along with numerous soloists, duets, trios, groups, and learn-to-skate members.
This event is the Bismarck Figure Skating Club's biggest fundraiser of the year.
Tickets are $10 dollars at the doors, and children 4 and under are free.
