North Dakota Minnesota Twins fans have had a long summer.

Since May, the Minnesota Twins have not been available on Midco Cable Services.  The only households able to watch the Twins this year, besides streaming options, were Direct TV customers.

I am one of those, the lucky ones. I have Direct TV in my household and I've been able to watch the Twins all season, so to be honest I haven't noticed the interruption.

A lot of my friends however are not happy.  Having to spend money on streaming options or going out to local bars to watch games.

Not only does Bally Sports have the Twins, but the Wild, and Timberwolves too.

A host of other programming like professional women's sports, college basketball, football, hockey, and outdoor shows. Bally Sports is one of the most watched channels in my household, so yes, I would be going crazy if I were in the same predicament that much of Bismarck Mandan is in.

It looks like there's finally good news for Midco viewers when it comes to the Twins and Bally Sports North.

I was strolling through the cable channels to get to the Weather Channel at work (we have Midco) and I ran across this message on the channel where Bally Sports North used to be.

According to somebody I talked to close to the situation, Bally Sports North will be returning to Midco users as soon as this Thursday, August 1st, 2024.

So, after being blacked out for nearly 3 months, your favorite professional Minnesota sports teams will be back in Bismarck Mandan (including the Twins).  Good news...Now, play ball!
