One North Dakota Restaurant Named Among The 50 Best In USA
Fine dining in North Dakota.
It seems like so many of our favorite restaurants since COVID have shut their doors across the state. Even here in Bismarck, Mandan, an alarming number of dining options have simply gone away.
According to Restaurant Growth, the average lifespan of a restaurant is only 4 to 5 years.
I would have thought it would have been much longer than that. If a restaurant has a small number of employees (5 or fewer), the number is even lower at 3.75 years. Many do not even make it past their first year of being open for business.
Those are some staggering numbers if you have plans or goals of opening up your very own restaurant in the future.
Our friends at Love Food came out with a list of the BEST Restaurants in America.
We only had one restaurant in North Dakota grace their big list. This restaurant did pretty well as it came in at the 34th best in America. Not too shabby.
Introducing North Dakota's entry for the Best Restaurants in the United States goes to Mezzaluna in Fargo!
Love Food had this to say about Mezzaluna. It's a fine dining restaurant without being too stuffy. Mezzaluna has an eclectic menu and is highly regarded in Fargo.
Mezzaluna is regularly rated the best in the city and the state of North Dakota. Wagyu Zabuton steak is one of their signature dishes. They are also known for their burgers, but the menu has something for everyone.
Love Food's list was based on user reviews, awards, accolades, and first-hand experiences from their team.
