Sunday Night Football In Bismarck Last Night? You Betcha!
Are You Ready For Some Football?
Oh, wait a minute, that's a slogan for Monday Night Football. It really doesn't matter what day of the week it is; football is now America's favorite pastime. Sorry about that, baseball, but it's true. I don't care if it's Sunday, Monday, Thursday, or Saturday; NFL football rules supreme in the red, white, and blue.
This Year's Kickoff Game
This year, the National Football League kicks off its season on a Wednesday evening (September 9th), with a matchup of last year's Super Bowl teams, the New England Patriots vs last year's Super Bowl champs, the Seattle Seahawks. Typically, the NFL has started its season on a Thursday evening in recent years, but this year there will be both a Wednesday and Thursday evening game to start the year. NBC has the broadcast rights for the New England/Seattle game, and they, of course, are the network for SNF, otherwise known as Sunday Night Football.
SNF in Bismarck
A Sunday Night Football semi-truck was spotted in Bismarck last night. It was located in the Holiday Inn Express parking lot last evening, Sunday, August 30th, presumably spending the evening in Bismarck and working its way to Seattle for the season opener on Wednesday, September 9th. Here's a shot of the semi-truck.

All I can say is "bring it on" and SKOL North Dakota. My favorite team, and most likely yours, the Vikings will open their season on Sunday, September 13th at 3:20 pm as they host the Green Bay Packers "boooooo". Football is back, and I, for one, love it.
