Uncovering SLIders In North Dakota: Are You One Like Myself?

Street Lamp Interference or SLIders.

'Tis the season for things to go bump in the night and we embrace all things paranormal.  Speaking of which, do you ever drive or walk by a streetlight only to have it fade down and then turn back on as you go by it?

It's something that's been happening to me for most of my life.  Does it happen all the time?  No?  However, there does seem to be a pattern to this for me, but I'll get to that in a minute.

This phenomenon is known as street lamp interference or SLI (also known as SLIders).

What exactly are we talking about here? According to LiveAbout, this is possibly a psychic event that is just beginning to be recognized and studied.

Obviously, streetlights going out could happen occasionally by chance with faulty streetlights (you've probably noticed that it's happened to you once in a while), but SLIders claim that it happens to them regularly.  I'm one of them.

Very often, SLIders also report they tend to have an odd effect on other electronic devices.  TV's, light bulbs blow, etc.

A reasonable explanation for this phenomenon might have something to do with the electronic impulses of the brain.

Although the SLI effect is not a conscious one, some SLIders report that when it does occur, they often are in an extreme emotional state.

This is definitely the case for me.  If I have a lot on my mind or if something is troubling me, it's more likely for me to see streetlights fading down and then turning back on.
