Lincoln DUI Suspect Parks Car in an Interesting Spot
If you're drunk, and in a police chase this is not where you want to park.
According to KFYR the Police pursuit with a drunk driver ends when he parks the stolen car at the Lincoln Police department.
Here's the story:
A stolen car out of Bismarck was found in Lincoln after a man accused of driving drunk parked at the Lincoln Police Department following a short pursuit.
The affidavit says 23-year-old Richard Noheart is charged with theft, DUI and driving under suspension.
Lincoln Police say Noheart is accused of driving erratically and driving through Bismarck at more than 90 miles per hour.
Officers say Noheart passed a patrol car in Lincoln going more than double the speed limit and tried to stop him but he kept going. Police say that’s when Noheart pulled into the police department.
Documents say Noheart admitted to knowing the car was stolen and was taking it to the PD.
Police say Noheart blew nearly double the legal limit for blood alcohol level.
A judge set his bond at $250 in cash and to be a part of the 24/7 program.
I guess the idea was to return the stolen car to the police but maybe he was nervous and decided to have a couple before he did it? Sorry, just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.
