Living In Bisman – Treating Others Unselfishly – Inspires Us All
Stories like this make you stop what you are doing - and breathe easy...
...easy in the comfort of knowing that people you hear about, read about, are REAL - and they are our neighbors. No matter where we live -big city or small, each one of us sometimes feels rushed - we feel life's pressures - and the wonderful thing is that just one act of kindness can restore our "battery", our faith in another human being.
Do we deserve this? Absolutely
Think about an average day in your life - the little things that can easily be irritating - construction, people that cut you off in traffic, those that you may run into at a store or wherever that are rude - not interested in looking around and seeing the smiles on other faces - like a mom and son out for breakfast. I'm going to share a post from the other day on the Bismarck People Reporting News Facebook page - I read it three times over, and MY smile never left my face:
"I just wanted to give a shout out and thank whoever was at Denny's this morning and paid for our bill. I'm a single mom and wanted to take my son out for breakfast, as he's been asking to take me on a breakfast date, and when I went to go pay, I wasn't too sure what to say when an employee told me our bill/meals had already been paid for. I wish I knew who you were, but I don't, so I'm hoping this reaches the right person and you know how much I appreciate your kind gesture. You're an absolute angel"
If you ask me, I believe Eden Salinas is an angel as well - This caring person who is the Owner/Hairstylist/Makeup Artist at Eden’s Edge Salon- Hair & Makeup Artist took the time to sit down and share how special this made her feel - and you know what? She and her son deserve this - we all do.
To the person or persons that swiftly and silently delivered their kind moment - THANK YOU - You made my ( and a ton of other's ) day by reading Eden's post.
