Don't put the shovels away just yet as the region is getting set up for another round of snow in the coming days.

The area will serve up a couple of fast moving systems in for the start of the week, dropping a couple of inches of snow. These will be quick moving systems and at the point, it doesn't seem this will be a snow event, but with the snow already on the ground, this will add to the misery.

Monday (January 9th) morning, the first system will move through Bismarck and with it, another 1-3 inches of snow. Once the snow moves to the East, the area can expect the continuation of Arctic cold. This system will effect the Monday morning commute.

Some areas, mostly Central and South of the region have the possibility of another 1-2 inches of snow Monday night. The Arctic air will settle in the region midweek with the coldest air towards the end of the week.
