Navy to Name Ship After Bismarck

The congressional delegation of North Dakota says the U.S. Navy is naming one of its next high-speed ships after the city of Bismarck

The USNS Bismarck will be a joint high speed vessel, a transport ship that serves in a variety of purposes, including transporting troops and military equipment, the delegation said.
