NDSU Gets First Loss Of The Season

NDSU loses down in Brookings, South Dakota to the Jackrabbits with a final score of 27 to 19. This is NDSU's first loss of the season which put them at 8-1 this season. NDSU is still first in the Missouri Valley Football Conference and the loss shouldn't really make much of a difference in the national standings.

NDSU has struggled this year on both sides of the ball. The team had many chances against SDSU to tie the game or take the lead but they weren't able to capitalize on those chances. Many people on multiple sites have expressed frustration against the NDSU play calling. I've always been one to say it's easy to sit in the reclining chair and make play calls but actually being in the booth calling the plays is different. Everyone is going to disagree with a play call or two it's human nature but it's not an easy job being a play-caller. Multiple times

NDSU either threw an interception or fumbled the ball. They had a great chance at the two-yard line to run it in but unfortunately fumbled the ball, recovered it lost yards and weren't successful getting the ball in the endzone. NDSU's quarterback Quincy Patterson II is currently out with an injury, and they have the backup quarterback Cam Miller starting the game. Would you like to see when Quincy gets back and is healthy? Should NDSU use both quarterbacks to do some trick plays? It sure would make it hard for the defense to defend NDSU if the team were able to use both quarterbacks.
