It's no surprise that the undefeated and number one ranked North Dakota State Bison are at the top of the rankings done by the FCS Committee.

If you're any sort of college football fan, you know that earlier this week, the FBS Committee released its first rankings for the 2018 season. So did the FCS Committee.

The Bison (8-0, 5-0) are at the top spot on the poll while James Madison is just behind in the number two spot. South Dakota State was the only other team out of the Missouri Valley Football Conference to crack the top ten at the seventh spot on the poll.

NDSU still has three games remaining on their regular season schedule before FCS Selection Sunday takes place on November 18th at 11:30 a.m. The FCS playoff bracket will be announced at that time. That event will be televised on ESPNU.

The FCS Committee Top Ten Ranking is as such:

1. North Dakota State

2. James Madison

3. UC Davis

4. Weber State

5. Elon

6. Kennesaw State

7. South Dakota State

8. Wofford

9. Eastern Washington

10. Delaware
