Operation: Cigars For Warriors – Thank You Big Stick Bismarck

Another terrific show of respect and love for our troops

It is always a treat to walk into the Big Stick Cigar Lounge -104 2nd Ave NW in Mandan. As usual, I was greeted with a huge smile from Mikaila ( assistant manager ) - and a warm glow of their comfortable/charming place. Just recently Mikaila and one of the owners Josette Dupree opened its doors for the first time - the ONLY place in North Dakota you can relax with your favorite cigar INDOORS. A special place run with love, and enthusiasm for their community - that's what a good business is all about.

Donating over two million cigars overseas to our military heroes

Michael Maxwell from Shiner Beers was there helping out with an auction tonight. This event - Operation: Cigars For Warriors is just shy of 11 years - over 1.3 Million cigars shipped to deployed and combat troops since 2012. Partnering with over 500 cigar shops ( Big Sticks Cigar Lounge proudly is one of them ) - Josette and I sat down for about a half hour - with a proud look on her face, she and Mikaila are so happy to help put this on - "Creature/ comfort to those who are far away from their home, in the military, risking their lives to keep us safe" - you help donate when you spend time in their awesome place - donating over ten dollars will get you a nice refreshing reward from Shiner Beers.

No matter where you live - whether it's a BIG city or a smaller town, find a comfortable place where you can just be yourself and be around wonderful people who care about others -
