Skydiver Has Seizure Mid-Jump, Instructor Saves the Day
Of all the things that can happen when you go skydiving, this isn't one that comes to mind.
A man who went up for a dive suffered a seizure shortly after jumping out of the plane.
He is unconscious for about 30 seconds while the instructor comes to his much-needed aid, pulling the rip cord about 4,000 feet up. About a thousand feet later, the diver awakens before successfully landing without any further incident.
You can see the whole episode unfold in earnest around the 54-second mark. It truly is riveting to watch and see someone step in under pressure to save someone's life.
