Hey in today's world not a bad idea actually

However, it probably will never happen to me since the last time I had a "first date" cavemen and women were sitting around a rock. The first time I heard about someone doing a "Deep intense background check" was a couple of years ago - a friend called and told me she had just been asked out -she gave me his name and told me to "Check him out" on Facebook.

"Ok, so exactly what else am I looking for?"

He looked perfectly normal to me, as I said though, she had already done a thorough job of skimming through his past pictures, personal information, and where he worked - all normal curious stuff. I assumed that was the end of her background checks, but it was just the start. Here is where I found out how powerful the internet is.

So call me naive, for I had no idea what you could find...

...when you know where to look. First, I don't blame my friend or any woman who does everything they can to make sure they are going into their "First Date" feeling somewhat safe. As the old saying goes, "You never know what someone is like behind closed doors". I had no idea you could look and see If they have a criminal record - places like ndcourts.gov will have all that info. One small problem, in this case, she didn't know about his hatred for country music until about 5 minutes into their FIRST and ONLY date. I'm quite sure now if Juliet had a computer back then she would have checked Romeo out up and down.
