Staffing Shortages Causing Bismarck/Mandan Businesses To Close Early
It's a sad trend that we are seeing around Bismarck/Mandan. Our favorite businesses closing down early OR shutting down for a whole day. Many of the reasons are a lack of employees. The Starbucks over 43rd just dropped some disappointing news.
Seems to happen overnight doesn't it?
We get so used to going to our favorite place in Bismarck/Mandan once or twice a week, and then suddenly there is a slight change in their business hours that interrupts our routine. Obviously, it's not meant to be a burden in our lives, but sadly it's the way of the times now. Businesses are closing early or shutting down for the whole day. One of my favorite restaurants in town, the China Garden over on Washington street, just announced not long ago they will be closed all day on Monday. Corynn told me on the phone that they are short of employees.
The Starbucks over at 1402 43rd Avenue NE Bismarck Affected
The hours at this popular coffee place have drastically been reduced, they are now open from 6 am till 11:00 am. They will cover the morning rush and then shut down for the day, once again the main reason is lack of employees. Our sister station Hot 97.5s Kori B had one of her usual spots affected as well when Panera Bread cut back their hours at night.
The key of course is for all of us to adapt to change
The shortage of employees continues all throughout Bismarck/Mandan, the key is to try and be patient and adapt to our favorite place's schedule. Think about how much of a strain it is on the businesses themselves.
