Student Awarded $1.25 Million After Being Forced By The School To Pee In A Bucket
For the second time in as many days, we have a story about students not being able to go to the bathroom. Yesterday, the verdict was no bathroom during class, but this time around, students could go as long as it was in a bucket.
The Supreme Court sided with a former high school student who was forced to pee in a bucket in a supply closet. This story dates back to 2012, but two schools and lots of mental issues later, the student finally is finally getting compensation in the form of $1.25 million and another $41,000 for medical expenses. The school could have settled this back in 2012 for $25,000 but opted to take the case to court.
