Get ready, golfers, because courses around the Bismarck-Mandan are beginning to open for the 2016 season.

Bismarck Parks and Recreation are making Easter Magic as they bring the annual Water Easter Egg Swim to the Bismarck Aquatic Center on Sunday, March 13 2016.

With Christmas quickly approaching we all know that you can see Santa at the mall or write the big guy a letter - how about a phone call from Santa?

This weekend is the huge Halloween holiday and with October 31st falling on a Saturday this year it will be extra fun. Friday, October 30th is a great warm up for Halloween with the annual Bismarck Parks and Recreation All City Halloween Party at the World War Memorial building.

As fall approaches we need to take advantage of the time we can still spend outside and not freeze! Bismarck Parks and Recreation is showing the animated movie " A Bugs Life" Friday, September 25th at Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.

Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m. it is the first ever Bark Park Parade and Social to raise funds for the bark park. All 2 legged and 4 legged friends are invited to come out for some fun and exercise, brought to you by Bismarck Parks and Recreation.

July is here! It is the month we celebrate America's independence, warm summer days, amazing sunsets and fun outdoors and Bismarck Parks and Recreation July celebration.

June arrives on Monday and with that the summer pool season is upon us.

The National Park Trust has established Saturday, May 16th as Kids to Parks Day, a nation-wide day of outdoor play. Bismarck Parks and Recreation encourages everyone to explore Bismarck’s 54 parks and 46 playgrounds and as an added incentive you'll have a chance to win great prizes.

This is a lot of fun for the kids, we did it last year and we are signed up again! Bismarck Aquatic and Wellness Center puts a spin a the great Easter Egg Hunt Tradition.
