September 25th is celebrated every year as One-Hit Wonder Day, paying tribute to those musical artists who had one hit before bowing out of the spotlight.
Def Leppard's Joe Elliott will produce the sophomore record by Black Star Riders, a band featuring former members of Thin Lizzy. Elliott previously worked on the 2011 reissue of Thin Lizzy's 1976 classic 'Jailbreak' album. The Def Leppard singer also produced the first two solo albums by Black Star Riders' Ricky Warwick, who joined Thin Lizzy as vocalist in 2010.
Megadeth's new 'Super Collider' album found the band recording outside material for the first time since 1988. And they chose wisely, reaching into Thin Lizzy's vaults to cover the band's classic 'Cold Sweat.'
