Talking Heads' David Byrne Covers Markie's 'Just A Friend'

If I were to ask you what two artists you would never expect to be mentioned in the same sentence, Talking Heads frontman David Byrne and rapper Biz Markie would be a completely legitimate answer. Yet, here we are.

Last night (Feb. 25th) at an event for Artists Pay for Radio Play in New York City, Byrne jumped on-stage and covered Markie's classic 'Just a Friend' for a raucous crowd.

One can only hope that the next time Biz performs, he covers 'Burning Down the House'. We'll be waiting, Biz.
