Unauthorized Entry Prompts Widespread Search at Minot Air Force Base

An unauthorized visitor on Minot Air Force Base prompted a widespread search of the area Thursday morning (6/26). 

Officials say a person entered through the gates without the proper security screening, prompting a widespread search to locate the man. The situation is currently being classified as an 'unauthorized gate entry'.

Security forces are in the process of checking the identity of everyone on the base until the person in question is located.
