Wentz in trouble
The game wasn't as close as the score might tell you.
In a must-win game to try to salvage their season, the Philidelphia Eagles spit the bit. The defense for both teams played well enough to keep the game close but Carson Wentz's problems might have started to come to roost.
He turned the ball over a career-high 4 times 2 picks and 2 lost fumbles. The Pressure got to him and it really seemed like he was trying to win the game every time he dropped back. Not a good look.
The fact that his entire receiving core is out minus Zack Ertz and that he was missing a pro bowl left tackle in Lane Johnson today is a good enough excuse, but it seems like the degenerate sportswriters are circling like sharks.
There's already a bleacher report article asking if he's the answer at QB and now after an ugly game like this albeit against an elite Seahawk team, the fickle fans in Philly might start to pounce.
Hopefully, he can not watch the press on this short week and get well against the hapless Dolphins.
