It's time to gear up for Christmas.

If you don't already have a tree, what are you doing?! You don't want to wait until the last minute to figure out where to get a good one; that could make it where you end up with a "Charlie Brown's Christmas" kind of tree.

Who knows, maybe that's the look you're going for, but I think most of us want chubby, healthy-looking trees to fit all our ornaments and decorations. Point of the story: you don't want to end up missing out.

We're Listing

There are a lot of different nurseries and tree farms in North Dakota, but I've put together a list of a few, so you don't have to do too much looking around. Heads up: you might want to keep checking to see if they've made any changes to hours of operation as time goes on, and we get closer to the holiday.

Anyway, here you go:

There you have it! Those are only seven of the many that are scattered throughout our great state. Hopefully, this list helps you plan your road trip/tree-hunting adventure.

Next Order Of Business

If you aren't putting up your own tree this year, or have already had yours up for some time and want a little extra holiday magic, you might want to check this out.

The Bismarck Larks are hosting a tree-lighting event at Peace Park this year. how cool is that?! It's this Saturday (November 25th). It starts at 5:30.

Personally, I say, "Don't be a Grinch." -- Let us have our far too early fun.

LOOK: Things from the year you were born that don't exist anymore

The iconic (and at times silly) toys, technologies, and electronics have been usurped since their grand entrance, either by advances in technology or breakthroughs in common sense. See how many things on this list trigger childhood memories—and which ones were here and gone so fast you missed them entirely.
