In about two weeks, I am going to fly to Boston, Massachusetts

I haven't flown in over two years, so it's safe to say that everything is the same,as far as getting to the airport, "At least an hour before boarding." I was extremely happy when I heard that face masks are no longer mandatory, like it was around 4-5 years ago during COVID. Oh, and I heard about the REAL ID, which I went ahead and took care of that, so I'm all set, right?

Not so fast - obviously, over time, there will be items and such that you must be aware of NOT to bring on board

So glad someone tipped me off on this, for there have been some changes you need to know on what is not allowed to bring on your trip. The TSA ( Transportation Safety Administration ) - as of the first of this month ( May ) it became mandatory that you couldn't fly without a REAL ID. No problem for me, it literally took less than an half hour to get one at the NDDOT.

Here is an easy way to find out what you CAN or CANNOT bring with you

Here is a convenient way to check - according to faa.gov "you may no longer pack lithium batteries into your checked baggage. Apparently, even in standby mode, lithium batteries can become unstable, overheat, and even cause fires which would be disastrous in an unattended area like the cargo hold of a plane in midflight"  I never even would have thought about that. What makes perfect sense is to go on tsa.gov and see all the current rules and prepare yourself.
