What would you do if you found money lying on the ground in front of you?

When I saw this post this morning on the Bismarck People Reporting News Group page,  I couldn't wait to write an article about this. I tracked him down through my own Facebook page and spent about 10 minutes on the phone with him. I knew the second we hung up, I was a better person just talking to him.

His name is Steven Bendickson. This morning, he found some money on the ground

I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that MOST people ( 99.9% ) who have found money on the ground, probably look around for a couple of seconds to see if anyone within the vicinity MAY have lost a couple of wadded-up bills with Andrew Jackson staring at you. Well, Steven took a couple of seconds and expanded his finding of $40 into a post that displays honesty and integrity

"Just found $40 on the groundBut, like, why??
Name that place, I'll return it to ya
Edit: 48 hours to claim. I'll screenshot my location where I found it and post it if no one correctly identifies
Edit #2- I'll ❤️ the winning ticket number. Waaay too many people responding lol‍I'm working, trying to make my own, to be spent just as easily lost"
"This post made my day, made my week..."

That's the magical feeling of "Doing the right thing" will give you, and that is clearly what this man did. No fanfare - just 100% honest. Without a shred of a second thought, he wrote those words this morning. Yes, the clock is ticking - Edit: 48 hours to claim

Listen I am convinced, if by let's say next month someone WERE to reach out and say the exact location where they lost $....

Steven would return it in a heartbeat. This man is a perfect role model for all of us! Especially his soon-to-be-13-year-old son Owen
