Sadly, as the years have passed, there are many people who have forgotten, and even more who have chosen to never remember in the future. The date - September 11, 2001, was a horrific day, and thousands of innocent people lost their lives to terrorism. This was one of those days you WILL remember the rest of your life, and I, for one, will "NEVER FORGET"

On a clear, beautiful sunny Tuesday morning in New York, disaster struck

Here in Bismarck, North Dakota, no doubt you were going about your morning getting ready for work, having some breakfast, making sure your kids were all set for school, just your everyday rituals that were about to come to a complete halt.

With your TV on in the background, the unbelievable happened before your eyes

At 7:46:40 am Central Time, a hijacked plane slammed into the north face of the North Tower of the World Trade Center, killing all on board. I will "Never Forget" the absolute stunned feeling I felt as I watched the huge gaping hole in the building. Just 17 minutes later, the whole world saw on live TV another plane hitting the South Tower.

That sickening, awful thud in our stomach as the last tower collapsed

It took just less than two hours total for both the South and North towers to completely collapse. Would we ever have life back to normal? Many people believed not. Tomorrow morning, please take 10 seconds out of your morning, and close your eyes at 7:46:40, and remember those who lost their lives - REMEMBER the brave that raced into the burning building to try and save lives. NEVER FORGET.
