They had their 19 game winning streak snapped but were able to bounce back.

The Century Patriots had a little scare yesterday having dropped a 2-1 pitchers duel to Dickinson, only to turn around and crush Bismarck in their must-win game.  Now they are on their way to the state finals and it looks like destiny is pointing them to the crown.

27-4 is their record with one game to go.

Here's some more from the Bismarck Tribune:

Having not lost in nearly six weeks, the Patriots dropped a pitchers' duel to Dickinson 2-1 in semifinal action of the West Region tournament Saturday morning. The setback put Century in a must-win scenario later in the afternoon and the Patriots predictably responded.

Cameron Miller had two hits and two RBIs, Paydin Slette doubled and tripled and Skyler Reidinger tossed four scoreless innings of relief as Century bounced Bismarck 8-1 at Shiloh Christian's Dwyer Field.

Let's go Patriots!
