Thank you, Tricia, for reaching out to me

I received a FB message from a wonderful lady I hadn't spoken to in years. Her name is Tricia Lester, and she is the general manager at The Tavern Grill here in Bismarck. "What I love most about this job is the relationships. Being there for my team and my community means everything to me." That quote from her says it all, and that's exactly what she, The Tavern Grill AND Dream Center are doing next Thursday, March 26th!

National Spinach Day is March 26th, and this year we want to use it as an opportunity to give back to our local community—that is truly our main goal.

"Having lived in Bismarck my entire life, I’ve built so many meaningful relationships with people who first came in as customers. Seeing those familiar faces is the highlight of my day—being able to serve them, catch up on their lives, ask about their families, their health, or even just talk about the weather. Those everyday connections are what make this job so fulfilling for me.

Dream Center - What an amazing place

"I chose the Dream Center because I believe deeply in the work they do. It’s not just about the number of people they feed or the families they support—it’s everything beyond that. From back-to-school events to ongoing community outreach, they are constantly finding ways to make a difference. I had reached out to Denise from the Dream Center some time ago about partnering on an event, and when I visited, I had the chance to sit in on a presentation and see their impact firsthand."

Take a look at some of the incredible people who really care about others in our community:

"With this event, our goal is to support the Dream Center by collecting nonperishable food items to help them continue their work and reach as many people as possible. We are aiming to collect 500 or more items, and our staff and management team will also be contributing to the cause.

To encourage participation, anyone who brings in two nonperishable food items will receive a free spinach and artichoke dip. This can be enjoyed either dine-in or to-go, and there is no purchase necessary—just the donation items. All contributions from this event will go directly to the Dream Center.

The event will run from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and we are truly excited to come together as a community for such a meaningful cause.

Thank you Tricia, Dream Center, and The Tavern Grill!
