
Bismarck’s “Yin & Yang” – Thermostats Rise Along With Our Bill
First of all, do you know what "Yin & Yang" means? That's important here
Let's start by explaining what that expression "Yin & Yang" is all about - the irony of the saying is that ENERGY is one of the words in describing what those two word means, and how it relates to Bismarck and Mandan's heating bill. NOW let me make it as simple as possible for all of us to understand
Maybe I can compare it to something like this: lately ( the last couple of days ), our thermostats have been adjusted to lower the temperature inside our home - thankfully, the weather has been on the plus 0 side. The YANG of the whole thing is that now we will see our monthly bill rise. According to the Bismarck Tribune "North Dakota MDU bills are about to rise nearly $10 per month. Montana-Dakota Utilities' North Dakota customers are set to see a nearly $10 bump in their monthly electric bills"
